On January 19, 2012, MGEX announced changes to its flagship Hard Red Spring Wheat (HRSW) contract. Effective with the September 2012 contract month, high quality wheat from Canada and other wheat growing countries can be delivered on the HRSW contract. Further, a deoxynalenol (vomitoxin) specification has been added, effective in the May 2013 contract month. For delivery on the HRSW contract, the maximum vomitoxin level is 2 parts per million.
